OREGON

Yoooo so now that Fall is setting in, I guess it's time to re-cap on the summer.
Well the first big thing I did was go to OREGON, so here are a shit ton of pics:

FIRST THING I SEE when I get off the airplane-is in the bathroom of the airport. A needle disposal... 'But Alex, it's probably for people who have diabetes.' SUURE count how many needle disposals you find in public restrooms in your town please. OREGON aka Welcome to Meth Ville

You know the first thing I had to do was eat something; and drink tea of course:
I should follow sports more so I can be a TRUE fan, but this is my team homie: BLAZERS

This is my dog Angel. She recently passed away. She was about 15? If you know me then you know the story of my dog. She ran away when I was in high school and some lady called 2 years later saying she found her about 40 miles away from our house.

Now-after a sad story-THIS:
I might have to explain to some why this is funny. I have been living in Brooklyn, NY for 5 years now. One thing you learn out here is that razor blades are usually more associated with cutting people, rather than opening boxes. SO for a razor blade company to be called 'Helping Hand' is kind of funny because it's like these are going to help you cut more people.

ANOTHER reason this is funny-Everyone on the east coast knows that the northwest is full of depressed people and Meth. (Don't as me why, but that's how a lot of people out here picture oregon and washington to be-maybe because two well-known singers from WA are also known for committing suicide.) ANYWAYS this is pretty funny becuase it is like-buy helping hand so it can help you cut your wrists wide open.

WELL I don't have time to post the 45 pictures I took while I was in OR, but I will try to put 5 new pics up everyday!

THANKS

For the three of you that peep my blog - Sorry I have not updated it since the World Cup... It was just that important to me :)

How do I feel now that it's over?

Well I HATE Suarez from Uruguay, I honest to god wish someone would have poked him.

Also bummed no African or American (both North and South) were not involved in or even the winner of the world cup match. Oh well there's always the next four years...

All in all, the World Cup was amazing as usual and I am sad that it has come to an end :( Glad I got to enjoy it though :) as I have a flexible schedule and work dope jobs I was able to catch as many games as I wanted to !

ALSO I just want to say here FUCK YOU to everyone that didn't believe South Africa could pull off hosting the World Cup, and FUCK YOU to everyone who had negative things to say during the games. I HOPE YOU ALL LEARNED SOMETHING - South Africa is a beautiful country and now you all know it. Yes it has many problems but so does every other country on the planet so suck my balls. I think you should also learn that South Africa is full of very hospitable people, something I have a hard time finding in the United States. Thus, it was not a miracle that the country with THE MOST HOSPITABLE people I have ever met in my life could manage to HOST the World Cup and do it with class.

I will be making new, probably massive updates at a time from my trip to OREGON till now.

Until then: Peace.

WORLD CUP MOTHER FUCKERS !!!

THE FUCKING OPENING GAME BETWEEN SOUTH AFRICA AND MEXICO WAS FUCKING SICK !

I'm pumped. I don't have cable so I was listening to the game on the radio via internet and ran around the apartment screaming when South Africa scored against Mexico.

If you didn't see the game Mexico got a goal later and the game ended in a TIE.

HOWEVER I am still fucking hyped because South Africa is ranked 83 in the world (by Fifa), while Mexico is rated 17. Mexico was supposed to win that game easy, but instead they were fighting to not loose.

I know lots of people in the states don't like soccer, but it's fucking awesome. It's an intense game, and unlike the basketball and baseball finals, when elimination rounds come there is none of this 7 game series stuff. You got one chance to bring it, and on top of that, if you fail you gotta wait four years until your next shot. THAT is a lot of pressure, and I think that is what makes watching the world cup so exciting.

Besides that, soccer is just a sick fucking sport. Last World Cup (2006 in Germany) a country from Africa called the Ivory Coast was in a civil war, but they put the war on hold because their team made it into the World Cup. There was no movie ending with Ivory Coast winning, but I think it is amazing that people stopped killing each other because they wanted to support their team in the World Cup. I guess that is the other thing: with so much drama between all the countries and politics and wars and anger ... IT IS really refreshing to have the whole world getting together and being excited for something positive for a change.

Furthermore I am just proud of South Africa. So many people talk trash about South Africa and how bad it is and how crappy the leaders and so on. A TON of people even said South Africa would not be able to get it together to host the World Cup. Well they fuckin' did! and I'm glad because now the whole world can see how beautiful the country of South Africa is. AND THE WHOLE WORLD can worry about whether or not their team will win, instead of speculating about who is making weapons and who is harboring terrorists and watching every step Obama is making.

FUCK ALL THAT NOISE ! WATCH SOCCER; AND BE HAPPY BITCH !!

P.S. We need to all come together and realize what the real problem is, who the real enemies are...The referees in the world. That one umpire guy fucked up that perfect game for that pitcher in Detroit, and today the ref's didn't call offsides on that goal Mexico scored ... WHAT THE FUCK?? People need to wake up and see the real problems in the world.

OREGON STRIPPERS

I heard from a few people about Oregon having more strip clubs than any other state, then when I checked it out on google I found this article:

http://seattletimes.nwsource.com/html/localnews/2003336880_portlandclubs02m.html

Which is about the comparison of strip clubs in Portland to Seattle.

Seattle is a bigger city than portland and in 2006 (when this article was written) it had 4 strip clubs. Portland, in 2006, had 50 strip clubs.

I think it's funny no matter where you drive you will find a strip club. Last night my friend and I were driving downtown and we got lost and ended up driving in the middle of no where. While we were lost we saw three strip clubs out literally in the boondocks. (somewhere on Columbus Ave for those of you who live in Portland).

I think it's hilarious slash awesome that Portland has so many strip clubs.

ORGONE

I'm in Oregon for the month so I probably won't be posting on the regular... gonna try to get a good handful of funny photos tho so be ready foo!

KICK ASS

Saw the movie Kick Ass a couple days ago:

It was directed by this guy Matthew Vaughn that produced about 10 things (including Snatch), but this is only his third time Directing. The movie was GREAT though. From the poster ads and the brief trailers I saw I thought this movie was a kid movie, but it is not. This movie is packed with action and violence and it is done well.

The kid decides to try and fight crime, since no one else seems to want to help, and he ends up in the middle of a beef between an ex-cop (Nicolas Cage) and a mob boss. And there is a lot of comedy, but also a lot of good action.

The movie looked like it was done on a set, which I heard was for a good reason, but I was not too crazy about that. You can tell when they are supposed to be in NY they are not actually, but whatever.

Verdict: GO SEE THIS MOVIE

A NIGHTMARE ON ELM ST.

Fuckin sick

Went to see it in theaters. Didn't jump or freak out too much, but I can't deny that Nightmare on Elm St. was mad entertaining.

It is different than the original but still based on the characters... i guess similar to alice and wonderland, only I was more aware of that change this time. Even though it wasn't a direct remake, it was still awesome and the new Freddy looks dope.

Wes Craven is gonna be making money off Freddy for a long time...
