13 Assassins (2011)

Directed by Takashi Miike !

This movie was fucking awesome. Just watching the trailer made me want to watch the movie again.

Waaaay different from Ichi The Killer. If you did not have the stomach for Ichi The Killer - this one isn't so gruesome. Don't get me wrong, there is a ton of killing, but it is not nearly as graphic or wild as Ichi.

Long story short - this was probably the best Samurai movie I have ever seen.

The beginning is a little lengthy, and slightly corny at times - but the 40 minute battle scene at the end is well worth it.
