Wreck-It Ralph (2012)

Directed by Rich Moore

Saw it in the theaters - fucking hilarious

I was pumped because I was surprised by the 'twist' of the villain - glad to see kid's movies are still one step ahead of me

I didn't see this 3d - so I'm not sure how awesome it is 3d, but as far as seeing it in theaters - you could wait until it's on DVD.

There was tons of old school video game shout outs - that was cool to see - and I liked how they made the 'world' that these characters live in.

check it out

The Sixth Sense (1999)

Directed by M. Night Shyamalan

I saw this movie a few times, but I think it was before I started logging shit. 1999 - end of the world yoo!

I like how simple the shots and editing is yedig. If you haven't seen this movie I'd imagine you don't like movies cuz this is a classic (surprising right? - M. was good in the early days foo)

Land of the Dead (2005)

Directed by George A. Romero

GEORGE A ROMERO - that's all I have to say. Watch this movie, it's everything you want a zombie movie to be, and John Leguizamo plays a latino thug in it.

Lincoln (2012)

Directed by Steven Spielberg

Saw a secret screening in the city. My friend had a ticket she wasn't using, so I went to check it out.

Daniel Day-Lewis was fucking awesome.

I was impressed by the amount of long takes they rocked in this movie. Everything production-wise was FUCKIN SICK (obviously, it's the Steve). Idk how historically accurate it is, but it was interesting from an 'educational' stand-point. It was not that exciting tho..

I also think it's an interesting 'time' for this film to come out because since we are so many years past slavery - it was kind of humorous to see how upset the democratic party was about passing that 13th amendment to end slavery. As a result, it made me think about how many amendments or bills might be in argument when they really should just be passed for fuck sake.

I wouldn't spend $12 to see it in theater, but you should see it somehow foo!

Clay Pigeons (1998)

Directed by David Dobkin

The only other movie I saw directed by this guy was 'Wedding Crashers'

It was pretty awesome actually. Played it randomly on Netflix, and the first 10 minutes was good enough to have me interested to watch the rest.

Lots of sex and murder. The story unfolded in a much different way than I suspected.

Check it out - it's worth it

Shane (1953)

Directed by George Stevens

Saw it on Netflix - epic.

A lot of strange relationships in this film - its great to watch - if you haven't seen it then you should foo

The Campaign

Directed by Jay Roach

This guy directed two Austin Powers films and Meet the Parents - all funny movies.

This movie was funny - I saw it in theaters - could've waited to see it on DVD, but it was pretty damn funny.

I'm sure all the haters would say it's all the usual jokes - and they are probably right - but that was okay with me. I could watch Zach Galifianakis and Will Ferrell act like assholes for a damn long time.

It should be on DVD by now - check it out
